Football: Friendly match between ISP Kabare lecturers and students
A lone goal made all the difference. That was the narrow scoreline in a friendly football match that pitted the teaching staff against the students of the Higher Pedagogical Institute (ISP) Kabare. The match took place this Sunday, May 25, 2026, at the Mugeri pitch in Katana.
Although the lecturers put up a strong fight and displayed solid technical mastery on the pitch, it was ultimately the students who showed clinical efficiency, securing the win by the narrowest of margins. Beyond the final score, this festive encounter delivered on its promise, offering a heartwarming spectacle to the large crowd of spectators.
« This match was a true moment of fellowship and sharing, » rejoiced Romeo Mashali, Director General of ISP Kabare. « In addition to lectures and academic requirements, sports constitute a major pillar in the holistic training of our students. Congratulations to the winners, and hats off to the teachers who fought valiantly. We hope to see this type of initiative become a lasting tradition within our institution. »
